Great Tour We were planing to book overnight to Cairo then Luxor from Hurghada but we found this offer with you guys from samegypt tour which is much better and saved money as well. Picked up from Hurghada in a private car with the Egyptologist guide Hamada, it was early in the morning. We got a stop for a little pause then we continued to Cairo. Our start was the museum, it was so big and inside we saw lots of items, the most important and admired us was the Tutankhamen's golden musk and coffin. The next stop was the marvelous and fascinating pyramids. We stopped in front of the great pyramid but I felt i'm too small and wondering, how could they build this at time of no machines or technology but our guide give us the vision of how they did it. We went to the sphinx, we were staring to the face that we thought it was built but we knew it is curved!!. We got our very tasty lunch then to the hotel, it was very close to the pyramids, we loved it. In the next day morning, picked up to sakkara, we visited the step pyramid then other pyramids in the area, we entered one to see how it looks inside. Our next visit was the hanging and St. Sergius churchs, fortress, mosque and old Cairo. We had a nice time walking in khan al khalili bazaars, there we got the impression of the real market with its narrow streets, style of the building and the nice smile on people's faces. Evening we were transferred to the train station to catch the sleeper train. It was comfortable night after we slept the whole night till Luxor. We started the tour with Karnak temple. We loved to the massive pillars and the obelisks, same we saw before in Paris and London. With Our guide Osama who has taken us to the temple of Luxor where the statues of Ramses and the his obelisk. It was around 01:00 o'clock, we had lunch then check in. In the evening, it was great idea from our guide to take the horse carriage in a little city tour then to attend the sound and light show in karnak temple plus dinner. Our hotel Mercure was good with a Nile view. It was Monday morning and the last visits to the valley of the kings, valley of the queens and the temple of the queen as well then back to hurghada. Actually it was great tour to visit Cairo and Luxor. We promised everyone to spread the word. Me and my wife got the best.
